Back in NYC for a few, took the opportunity to take Griff to see his doc at Grand Army while we were here. What shoulda been an easy ride back to the UES turned into a major whiny mission. Griff temporarily quelled by Twizzlers.

Planned on grabbing the 4/5 at Nevins for the ride up to 86th, but it was not meant to be. At Nevins announced that some knucklehead train was broken down at Wall st, sending everyone West. Griff was already in rare form, and by the time the 2 hit Manhattan he was already breaking down. The sugar rush wearing off as I dragged him off the 2 at TS42nd, up to the shuttle, across to GCFortyDeuce, and finally boarding a mosh pit 6 train up to 86th and Lex. All in all a pleasant 90 minutes of transit. Thanks MTA! Its good to be back home.

Seemed somewhat one sided, discussing work and financial planning, seems like they had just struck up conversation - which seemed somewhat one sided with the guy on the left yapping and guy on the right not really looking up and responding with a seemingly unintelligible grumble - on the train, and didn't really know each otherwise. It went on for a few stops then devolved into an awkward silence.

Awoke early to do some biz down on 86th street before my last day at the agency. Loved this giant pale yellow curly explosion of hair on the Bay Ridge bound R, in contrast to the almost stark white frosty hair of the young Russian woman behind her.

Girl on the left had teh crazy straightend almost flock o seagulls like wave over her face, but her rapid movemnet made me botch her bit.

Back on the R city bound, quickie of this guy with a great gut and romanesque face, but he bailed pretty quick.

And then I hit the N at 59th street, enamored by these two ladies, one perfectly squat like a female-chinese-Don Zimmer (in Brown Yankee hat no less), the other tall young and lean, robustly devouring her breakfast sandwichie-pastry thing.

As the N crossed the Manhattan Bridge, got into her long locky hair (although I suspected extensions) flowing down over her puffy, furry hooded bomber. Totally fucked up the lips.

Cleared out after Atlantic and unfortunately she got a seat, as she was an interesting, striking figure, close to 6ft tall and full of style and swagger. I guess I got enough.

The red cap did a nice job of piercing all the greys and browns.

And on to the 1 from Chambers to Houston, she gave me a nice clump of black and pale yellow curls to catch quickly.

Crowded train 2 days before Xmas - guess I wasn't the only sucker still working.
Got her just as she got up to exit, somehwere around City Hall I think. Got a little nervous there as train crew were out looking at open car doors and rattling off names of parts. Worked out alright though as all that happened is we went express, which suited me just fine.

On the right was another quick exit just a sI started, a couple of stops later. Blue scarf hung around for the duration, catching glimpses between dozing, all the way to Herald Square.
