Riding home from 23rd street, a little more time on the slow but steady R, rumbling towards the borough.

It was a little earlier than usual, coming from an edited so it was a little wall to wall. The downside of heading out just after 5.

Amongst a crew of dudes shooting the shit in Chinese, his eyes pretty much hidden under a seemingly heavy grey spiderman cap.

New Route via South Ferry and Whitehall Street (THursdday, 2-11-10)

Late in the game I've discovered that after the recent rebuild that South Ferry station on the 1 train is now connected to the R Whitehall st station. This is the first try on this new route which somehow seems super secret, even tough its right there on the map. Above waiting on the R at the Whitehall street platform.

On the "R to 95th Next Stop is Union" as blared by the conductor over scratchy PA. Route worked out pretty well 1st time through.

Friday Morning 3 Train to Chambers Street (1-15-10)

She got off at Jay St., but then the car got a little cozy.

But I stuck t the door so I could keep drawing - probably seemed like a dick move to everyone trying to get on and off, but to quote an NYPD sergeant who once bellowed this out of the window of his cruiser to his officers who had us cornered on Crosby street back in the day "Hey it's Art, lettem finish".
