Lovely Ladies on the 2 and 1 - Work Bound (Monday, 2-28-10)

On the 1 train from Chambers to Houston, big furry collar.

2 ladies and the Return of Pink Sunglasses Dude (Thursday, 2-11-10)

On the 3.
Ahh, pink sunglasses dude, now sporting winter beard, unlike his clean shaven version of last summer.
But despite his sunglasses, it was I who appeared the freak, stalking him from the 3 to the 1, and then following him out at Houston.

Cozy Grey Jackets and Pink Turtlenecks on the 3 (Monday, 2-4-10)

Woman on left looked like she had sunk into her jackets as if it was a larg sensory depravation tank and only her head was bobbing above it. Woman to her right kept a harder posture as we rode. To her left teh scene tapered off into fur collors and puffy black jackets.

Color and Fur Collars (Tuesday, 1-27-09)

Big man on the 1, don't think he liked me sketching him t'all, but didn't say much.

Some colorful jackets a nice break from the pervasive scale of greys to black on the 2.

Big fur collar. He had an unusual three pronged scar on back of head like a tiny version of one of the starfighters from the original Battlestar Galactica had flown into it. Ya know the ones that were banned from school cause they shot little pellets that got up kids' noses.

On the R, much brown and yellow hair that it overwhelmed her small frame.

Tourists and Others (Thursday, 1-15-09)

Some Euro-ish looking tourists debating directions on the 1.

2 train.
Guy on left with furry rimed hat chewing a little gum, i've yet to perfect capturing a good gum chew in a still frame.

Had only one quick stop but captured the big collar and tough guy look i wanted.

Wednesday Morning (12-17-08)

Kid and nanny waiting for the train at 7th ave.

There's lotsa fur appearing on the train these days. On the B it was hard to tell here where the hair ended and the fur began.

Brooklyn Afternoon Sprint (Friday, 4-4-08)

Had to run mission to Brooklyn 220 Friday afternoon and be back in midtown at 4 for meeting.

Caught the 5, this kid was catching afternoon catnap.

Big fur colar.5 terminated at Bowling Green. This guy took a quick stretch on the fence in this blindingly red station waiting for the Brooklyn 4.

4 Train to Atalntic Ave.

Did my biz and back on at Borough Hall.

Was drawing this big guy for a little while. He kept glaring over at me and I got the feeling he was close to stepping to me, but he wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation. I used my old skill of looking right at someone without making eye contact like you were looking through them, a good skill to have riding the train in the 80s...The rest of the ride continued without incident, back to GC40Deuse at 353.

Why is Everyone Pushing this AM? (Friday, 1-18-08)

Probably toughest drawing to do in a while, leaning on the top rail with this dude's giant bag in my back. Must have been some probs going on, things were especially jammed up even on second and third trains. And people really had their sharp extremities pointed out this AM.
Been noticing a extraordinary amount of fur collars/hoods lately, 3 outta 4 of these ladies were rocking them.

One on the Fulton St. platform...

This dude had big head, little neck and big coat. Was tempted to walk over and see if I tapped him in back of head, if I could get a nice bobble effect.
