On the R to Union street, a new train which is unusual for the usually old and yellowed R train. I need a hat like that.

I drew him a bit diabolical, but I think he was catching a bad rap.

Stinking Canal Street and Suspected Toursits on the R (Friday, 4-9-10)

Waiting for the R back to BK at Canal street. The train is sitting as I enter the station. I get on and sit for a while sketching this woman as the bad smell from the station wafts into the car. Just as thedoors are about to close I realize that this actually a W and serves me no purpose and hop off just in time.
Couple (suspected tourists) on the R. The guy in his ultra mint pullover doing much of the yammering as his girl played with her camera.

From this angle her face, hair and then coat all seemed to spread to the sides when she sat down. When she got up I'd assume she'd stretch out tall vertically.

Onto the R where I was sketching her away until my co-worker James hopped on at Dekalb, he being a slave to the to R combo, I opting for the 1 to R. He left 10 mins before me so I felt pretty good about my route right about then.
