Oops, Wrong Train (Friday, 8-14-09)

Stepped over to 7th avenue friday morning to grab the B, had to meet up with friend at west 4th. Unfortunately there was an old Q masquerading as a B. By the time I noticed I was walking from Union Sq.

Uptown, Mdtown, Beer, Brooklyn (Wednesday, 7-1-09)

Headed uptown after work to make a Shiva call on the UES. 1 train
to shuttle from Times Square to GC40deuce, and to the 6 to 86th street.

Afterwards some beers at the Wheeltapper near GC40Deuce. Midtown crowd but decent beer and nice garden to chill in. After a few back on 4 Brooklyn bound. Was tryng to raw someone with a happy face, not many people show that on the train, so I had to use some artistic lcense.

I was unhappy when the 4 train I was on terminated at Bowling Green. So we all got off and waited in the hot station for the next one going to BK.

Dug this dude's polo, not afraid to rock the collar up while he snoozed.

O SHEEEEAT, I Forgot My Laptop (Monday, 4-28-08)

Got to work Monday morning and realized that I had forgotten my computer at home. So I had to slog back to Brooklyn in the soupy morning to retrieve it...

A few seconds at GC40Deuce.

And then 4 Train
to Borough Hall.

Sloshed home, changed my soaked pants, grabbed my laptop and back on the 4.

With the guy from the UHO, didn't feel like helping fund the organization today.

Monday NIght (4-21-08)

This Morning - The Israelites! (Monday, 2-25-08)

Had a little Desmond Dekker on the iPod this AM...
..played a little cat and mouse for the few moments I had on the platform to draw this guy. He'd look and look past, playing it off as I was drawing someone down the platform. He had kind of an "Urban Sherpa" look going.

4 was hectic to Union Sq...
..but cleared out nicely for the last leg to GC40deuce where there was a mass exodus.

End of the Book for the Ride Home (Tuesday, 2-5-08)

So recycled last possible page with some ladies waiting on the platform at GC40Deuce.

Wednesday AM (1-23-08)

Was late dropping the boy off at school (as usual)...
...so was a mellow ride into GC40deuce. Although in my general discombobulation I was dating things a day behind...

A Luxurious Ride on the 7th Ave IRT and GC Shuttle(Thursday 1-17-08)

After dropping the boy off at school, decided to mix it up and take the 2,3 route that I hadn't used much in a bit. Mellow ride compared to 4, 5 - positively relaxing. Only thing that would have made it better was a Mimosa and a nice Feta omelet with turkey apple breakfast sausage. Guess I'll bring my own next time.
Had a minute or 2 of platform time.

I guess the one black glove on was about the coffee, but it reminded me of a good vs evil thing, like she was having some sort of internal struggle alla Luke Skywalker.

Started with dude back right, but she jumped in way, so she end up looking a bit scary.

Instead of running for the Shuttle to GC that was waiting when I came upstairs from the 2, I waited on the next so I could have a little more sketch time on the quick ride. Unfortunately that next one pulled out with a quickness. Luckily I picked the most sluggish passenger in the car, so I had a few extra secs to catch him... 

Another Sea of People, Waiting for the Express Train @ GC (Monday 1-14-08)

Ahh, another Monday in midtown. Nothing I like better than to walk down the stairs and see the platform jampacked waiting for the train. At 6pm this means there probably hasn't been a train by for about 5 minutes. Luckily just as I started sketching 1 rolled in. Didn't make it on but managed to catch a quick sketch of the folks who managed to cram in. A nice roomy train rolled in right after though, so I was chilling.
