Dopey Looks and Angry Hair (Tuesday, 6-23-09)

Sustained that dopey look all the way into Manhattan.

The all around look reminded me of the dystopian hoods from many 80s movies/comic books, like the watchmen or the guys who invaded Wyatt's house at the end of Weird Science. A slightly culturally removed vision of an apocalyptic future. I think the lip pierce with bare ears was interesting in its minimalism.

A Familar Duo on the 2 (Monday, 6-22-09)

Looked familiar (not caus he looked liked Robert Kardashian) and then saw young woman sitting next to him and I remembered.


The young girl next to him from April switched with me to the one while pops stayed on the 2.

Earrings and Talmud on the 2 (Friday, 6-19-09)

Extraordinary earrings in the middle. Reading some Talmud on the right. At least I think it was Talmud, kinda big for a siddur.

Followed her from the 3 to the 1 at Chambers were she luckily took the same pose and position.

Pregnant Woman Eventualy Gets Seat (Tuesday, 6-16-09)

In fairness to the other passengers she was wearing a big sweater and baggy clothes that somewhat masked her bun-in-oveness.

People were musical chairing it on the 2 at first, so thing were a little loose.

Then settled down once we were firmly Brooklyn bound.

His demeanour seemed to be in contradiction to his giant, big bird-yellow shirt. Or maybe that was just his subway face. Most people got one.

Friday Seems Like Forever Ago (Monday 6-15-09)

I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Long bangs mostly hid her large brown eyes, which appeared for an instant here and there. 2 train.

Interesting Choice of Shirt (Friday, 6-12-09)

On the 2. Guy on the left seemed like a real know-it-all as he was dropping science to his girlfriend to the right.

This shirt reminded me of one sported by Ms. Tessmacher, Lex Luthor's (Gene Hackman) girlfriend of the early superman movies.

On the 1. She was serious.
And on the R. He was gabby.

Bad Angles and Gauntness (Wednesday, 6-10-09)

With his guant appearance, handlebar mustache, dark squint, black suit and slicked back hair he was half Wyatt Earp, half character from a Tarantino film. There was something up with him as he became increasingly hunched as the ride went on, seemingly in a state of semi-conciousness. At Hoyt he seemed to awaken and dragged himself off the train.


Sorry baby, bad angle, everyone's got one. The pink accessories were cute though....

1 train, nervous, hard chisled, kinda gaunt face. I know I've used gaunt twice in this post, and don't remember ever using it before in this forum.

Black Perched Hat (Tuesday, 6-9-09)

Hasidic man reading on the 2 train. His black hat was perched over a red bag and it looked almost like he had a little sidekick, like an ultra-orthodox Cousin It.
