It's Been a Minute (Thursday, 1-20-11)

Waiting on the bench for the R at Whitehall.

After coloring fun was over had a few moments before i pulled into Union street. Trying to crack my angry birds habit.

Nice PermFoHawk Dude (Monday, 8-16-10)

PermFoHawk-less on the R.

Diggin' the doo on the right. A nice almost Jeri-curl on top with a high setting clipper on the side. Coupled with a gruff yet with a few "pretty" attributes, made for quite an interesting character on this uptown 1 train from South Ferry.

Earlier That Morning on the 5 (Thursday, 7-15-10)

Actually started on the R from Union
5 from Atlantic. This guy was focusing on something far on the distance, like he could see beyond.....
...to the train ahead, where a sick passenger caused our 5 train to be rerouted to 7th avenue. Which did a nice job emptying the car. These teenagers unfazed as they hunched over there handheld gaming devices.
Decided to stay on and just hoof it
east once i got off.

Weird Game on the 1 (Thursday, 7-1-10)

Pleasantly plump young woman who's face was going crazy along with whatever she was listening to. Oddly there was a dude sitting to my right who, when exiting the train at South Ferry, was evidently "with her" and he was looking over my shoulder the whole time while I was drawing. Felt like some twisted game they were playing with me.

With a C train just rolled in to the upper level of West 4th I decided to be lazy (it being friday afternoon) and hop it so I didn't have to walk the stairs and
rode to Jay street where I did the easy switch to the
F to 4th ave. This guy seemed a promising subject but fidgeted a lot and kept giving me unsettling looks, causing a nervous squiggly mass of a sketch.

Feeling a little grungy this AM, took it out on this guy reading in the big puffy jacket on the way to Houston street.

Montage on a Manhattan Bound 3 Train (Friday, 1-22-10)

Feeling a bit lazy and unfocused this mornin' so just started drawing folks I liked as the inspiration came (or as a previous subject jetted). The old lady in the turquoise jacket was fabulous, I wedged her in last.

Real Juice (Wednesday 1-20-10)

Real juice in Sprite huh (as the ad behind her claims) - not sure if that is supposed to make me think that its healthy or what bt this 3 train rider did not seem impressed this morning.
