We had a big office party starting at 2pm, so by 6 I was feeling it a bit.
Awaiting the opening doors at GC40Deuce..

Everyone was looking a little woozy on the way home.

...electronic devices (woman from Fulton platform again). Since back of train was still in station, initial plan was to empty car through back. That plan never materialized. But after much discussion over the PA system...

...ahh, moving again after 15 minutes, liked the magenta stars on her hat.

Tuesday Ride Home (2-26-08)

Tuesday Morning and I'm Tired (2-26-08)

Stared sketch at Fulton, but no time at all, so continued from an uncomfortable perch on the 4.

Finally got a cozy place to lean from Union Sq. to GC40Deuce. Guy in the middle had a very pleased, yet dim, look on his face, and was rocking the George Michael stubble.

This Morning - The Israelites! (Monday, 2-25-08)

Had a little Desmond Dekker on the iPod this AM...
..played a little cat and mouse for the few moments I had on the platform to draw this guy. He'd look and look past, playing it off as I was drawing someone down the platform. He had kind of an "Urban Sherpa" look going.

4 was hectic to Union Sq...
..but cleared out nicely for the last leg to GC40deuce where there was a mass exodus.

...switched to the 1 at Times Square, this couple was doing a lot of nuzzling and other PDAs til we all hopped off at Columbus Circle.

Some Interesting Characters Going Home this Friday (2-22-08)

Jet black hair with some gray around the temple.
She was twisting all around, hence her cubist appearance.

This guy was had a grizzly edge, caught him just as he was getting off to catch the great white whale.
Lady on the left had the craziest bun I had ever seen and some red Phil Collins gloves. Lady on the right seemed less than amused by me.

Ok, Creepy Guy Time (Friday, 2-22-08)

So i started sketching this one woman on the train, who seemingly had great features for drawing.
But I couldn't quite capture, it just right for some reason...
..so I became obsessed...
...but it wasn't right....
....last ditch effort with seconds to go on the ride, but I'm afraid....no dice.
